This spring, Amami’s unique brown sugar shochu

“Lady of the South Island”, which is said to be “brilliant and sweet” and finished with 44 degrees alcohol.

Sato no Akira, which uses abundant brown sugar as the main ingredient, is finished with a slightly higher alcohol content of 37%, and is also used as a cocktail base overseas.

“Tenka Musou” with the rich aroma of brown sugar, mellow and rich, and does not make you feel the high alcohol of 35 degrees.

I experimented with 3 types of brown sugar shochu, and made herb tincture by adding dried herbs and fresh herbs of shell ginger for each type.

Since the aging period has passed, I was excited to open the lid to see what kind of scent the herb tincture with moon peach in each brown sugar shochu has!

The scent is slightly different depending on the characteristics of each brown sugar tincture, but the fragrant herb tincture 🌿 is finished ✨

While enjoying the scent of each finished tincture on the skin, I felt that the brown sugar shochu, which does not have the pungent scent of alcohol and retains the gentle sweet scent of shell ginger, is a good match.

I would like to report to Mr. Takuya and Mr. Takako of Setouchi Sake Sales, a brown sugar shochu specialty store who cooperated with me, so I took 6 bottles and went from Kakeromajima to Amami Oshima and headed to the store!
